Itinerary
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Dehradun/rishikesh/haridwar to Chopta, passing through lush forests, river valleys, and charming hill towns. Take a stop in Devprayag to witness the sacred confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. Then have a visit to Dhari devi one of the 108 shakti pethaas. Arrival to chopta check into your hotel and relax. Enjoy a delicious dinner at night.
After an early breakfast, begin the trek to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world. The 3.5 km uphill trek.For adventure enthusiasts, continue trekking another 1.5 km to Chandrashila Peak, the highest point of the region. From here stunning views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba Parvat. After spending time at the summit, trek back to Chopta and enjoy a well-earned meal.
Start the day with a short drive to Sari Village, the base point for the trek to Deoriatal Lake. The 2.5 km trek takes you through a dense forest of pine trees. Upon reaching Deoriatal a crystal clear reflections of the Himalayas.Spend time enjoy the atmosphere and capture the picture of the views. After spending the time back to Sari Village, then return to Chopta and enjoy the rest of the evening. You can explore nearby areas, interact with locals, or simply relax at your accommodation. Enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your return journey to Dehradun/rishikesh /haridwar. The trip concludes upon arrival in Dehradun, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Chopta’s beauty and adventure.
